Polo has been part of the Ligonier Valley’s legacy since the 1940s, and the Ligonier Polo Association is proud to carry that tradition forward. Our mission is to grow the sport through a dynamic polo club and school that hosts regular club chukkars, inter-regional league tournaments, and exhibition benefit matches — all set against the scenic beauty of western Pennsylvania.

We believe polo should be accessible to all, especially young riders. Thanks to the generosity of our members, sponsors, and supporters, youth players age 17 and under enjoy affordable access to professional instruction, safe and experienced polo ponies, and consistent opportunities to learn and play.

Through youth instruction, community competitions, and spectator-friendly events, Ligonier Polo Association is committed to enriching the region’s equestrian culture and cultivating a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable polo community for generations to come.
